This is a Beginners level class, open to all. In a beginners class you are perfectly fine to come along without any prior experience. Our foundation classes focus on learning the Pilates principles. Core stability, breathing, alignment, mobility, precision of movement and flexibility to aid a deeper practice, support a healthy spine / body and to gain a deeper understanding of Pilates and the wonderful health benefits. This class is a beginners level class but you will be challenged and gain a full body Pilates workout, regardless of your level. A solid foundation to Pilates is important in gaining awareness and really discovering the unique mindful benefits of Pilates. A steady class, with elements of challenge to suit all. A great opportunity to feel focussed and calm, discover the mindful benefits of Pilates. You will be given the steps to successfully and safely execute movement as you learn the foundations of Pilates, developing your coordination, flexibility and strength. What will I need for class: -A mat/towel -A small cushion/pillow/yoga block -Wear comfy clothing, that you can move freely in -Bare-feet, or socks/grip socks -Have some water nearby
