Our Absolute Beginners classes are suitable for those who are complete beginners, or for anyone who has had a break from practising. We break down the basics and fundamentals of Pilates. This class guides and supports complete beginners to build confidence in a safe, steady, calm, supportive and nurturing environment. Each class if progressive and modifications: progressions/regressions are offered to suit each individual. You will be taught correct spine and head alignment, breathing techniques, rib cage placement and stabilisation of the body, equipping you with the right tools, understanding and confidence to continue and progress your Pilates practise. Pilates mat classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. -Improves strength -Improves flexibility -Improves core stability -Reduces lower back pain -Improves bone density -Improves co-ordination -Improves balance -Reduces stress and anxiety -Improves your immune system -Increases joint stability -Improves posture What will I need: Just a mat & a small towel. To reschedule due to illness, please contact us at least an hour before your appointment and we will reschedule your booking.
